Classic-car enthusiasts wait all year for the annual Evergreen Show ’N Shine car show, and with good reason. In addition to all of those beautifully restored vintage vehicles, motorcycles, off-road vehicles and even golf carts are welcome to be a part of the show.
This year’s Show ’N Shine will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the spacious Conlin’s Furniture parking lot, 1441 Montana 35 in Evergreen, near the intersection of U.S. 2.
The show is open to all classes of cars, motorcycles, off-road vehicles and golf carts, and the best part is there are no entry fees. Participants will vie for more than 40 trophies and awards. There will be door prizes, goodie bags and dash plaques.
A crowd favorite is the cruise to the Dairy Queen, when a parade of vehicles flows through Evergreen and Kalispell at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3.
Dozens of local business sponsors make the show a reality.
For more information call Evergreen Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Connie McCubbins at 885-1212. Volunteers to help with the show are still needed.
