Libby schools sponsoring free summer breakfast, lunch program

Libby Public Schools has announced its sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program. Administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the program provides free, nutritious meals to children when school is not in session.

Breakfast and lunch meals are provided for children 18 and under. Adults can purchase breakfast for $3 and lunch for $4.

Times, dates and locations are as follows:

Libby Christian Church VBS: 100 Kootenai River Rd.; June 11 to June 14; 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.; noon to 12:30 p.m.

Libby Elementary School: 101 Ski Rd.; June 11 to June 28; 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.; noon to 12:30 p.m.

Asa Wood Lunchroom: 700 Idaho Ave.; June 11 to Aug. 2; 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
