The big Plains Day parade may have moved from Main Street to Lynch Street, but the crowds didn’t get smaller.
The parade was led off by members of the Plains VFW post 3596, and was followed by local from businesses, nonprofit groups, 4-H and many more.
The buzz from kids who were lined up along the streets could be felt as they readied their bags to make sure they didn’t miss out on any candy that was tossed to the sides as the parade made its way through.
Smiles from those walking down Lynch Street, and some even driving, were infectious in bringing to life the celebrations of the town.
From classic cars to horseback, there was all things Montana and Plains that were showcased in the bright sunshine that was on display.
With another year in the books there was plenty to enjoy as the new route proved to be a success for the Plains Business Association, as they kicked off the official day from Studs and showcased the best of Plains throughout the day with plenty of events for everyone to enjoy.
