Kids from all over will get the opportunity to delve into the arts this coming summer vacation as the Sanders County Arts Council puts on their first Summer Arts Camp.

The local organization will provide three different mediums for kids to enjoy and bring out their inner artist.

Sanders County Arts Council President Karen Thorson said they hoped that this first series would become an annual event for the organization.

With three themes that will span the summer, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.

June will see the theme of dance, while July will boast visual arts and August rounding it off with a theater theme.

Children as young as 5 years old all the way through to 18 years can join in for all or just one of the Kaleidoscope camp themes.

“Sessions are two days in length. Registration can be for any one session or for multiple sessions,” explained Thorson.

No matter which camp kids choose to take a part in, there will be either an end of camp performance or for the visual arts in July an exhibition where they can showcase their talents.

“Scholarships are available, we do not want cost to be an issue for youth to participate,” expressed Thorson of the upcoming events.

With all sessions scheduled to be held at The Paradise Center in Paradise, those who wish to register are encouraged to go to the Sanders County Arts Council website: sanderscountyarts.org or alternatively call 406-847-5598.
