A 57-year-old Bigfork man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Friday evening on Montana 83.

According to Trooper Eric Thoreson, the man was driving a 1994 Chevy Camaro on the highway at a high rate of speed when he attempted to turn on to Montana 35.

The man, who was not wearing a seat belt, lost control of the car while traveling through the intersection and hit a tree.

Thoreson said alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
