Legion Baseball Glacier Twins A lose to Cody, beat Belgrade

BELGRADE — The day ended on a sour note for the Glacier Twins A at the Belgrade American Legion baseball tournament Saturday evening.
Glacier, who had won two straight tournament games after a first-round loss on Thursday, let a 4-0 lead slip away in the final innings for a 6-4 loss to Cody, Wyoming.
Cody (25-2) did all of its scoring in the last three innings, with a run in both the fifth and sixth and four more in the seventh. Jared Grenz tripled in two runs for Cody in the final inning.
Glacier (6-9 overall) outhit Cody 11-7. Caleb Meehan, 2 for 4, and Quintin Schriver, 1 for 2, both tripled for the Twins. Terek Bistodeau led Glacier at the plate, going 3 for 4. Colby Clark-Dickenson finished 2 for 3.
Earlier Saturday, Glacier blew by Belgrade B 13-2. Dan Seymour, 2 for 3, tripled in a run for Glacier in the first inning and belted a grand slam in the second to finish with five RBIs.
Tournament play ends today.
