Panhandle Health District has partnered with the Coeur d’Alene School District and the Coeur d’Alene Kroc Center to provide four free Teen Support Nights this summer for district students in sixth through 12th grades.

“This event is meant to support students affected by suicide during the summer months when they may not see their friends or school support system as often,” said Panhandle Health District spokeswoman Katherine Hoyer. “We will have Panhandle staff on site to supervise and mental health professionals from Kootenai Health available if any student would like to speak to someone.”

The students will enjoy a safe, summer fun environment with food, games and access to the Kroc Center.

Teen support nights are on select dates from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Kroc Center, 1765 W. Golf Course Road, Coeur d’Alene.

High school student Teen Support Nights: Tuesday, June 26 and Tuesday, Aug. 21.

Middle school student Teen Support Nights: Tuesday, July 24 and Tuesday, Sept. 18.
