ACH boys win, girls lose at state

Colton 81, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 34

SPOKANE — Last year, Almira/Coulee-Hartline ended Colton’s reign atop Class 1B.

This year, Colton reminded ACH what it’s capable of. Colton led 25-7 after one quarter and routed ACH 81-34.

Tiffany Boutain led the Warriors with nine points.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 61, Muckleshoot Tribal 51

SPOKANE — Almira/Coulee-Hartline ended Muckleshoot Tribal’s 18-game win streak in the Class 1B state quarterfinals 61-51.

The Warriors outscored Muckleshoot in the first three quarters and led 51-38 entering the fourth.

Payton Nielsen missed just one shot en route to a team-high 18 points and 16 rebounds.

Chase Gerard scored 16 points and Maguire Isaak had 14.

ACH meets Pomeroy in the state semifinals today at 5:30 p.m.
