SANDPOINT — An update on the market is the focus on next week’s Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce luncheon meeting.

The chamber would like to welcome area residents and businesses to the monthly meeting, which is set for Thursday, March 8, from 12-1 p.m. The lunch will be held at Di Luna’s Cafe’, 207 Cedar, in Sandpoint, with registration beginning at 11:45 a.m. March’s luncheon is sponsored by Daugherty Management, “providing luxury vacation home rentals and property management since 2009.”

This month’s guest speaker will be Alex Darrow, a business development consultant from John Hancock Funds, LLC. Darrow has a bachelor’s degree in personal financial planning and a background in the finance and investment industry. His presentation will be a market update of the recent past, present, and future. His experience and expertise will be an insightful look at market trends throughout the country and how those trends affect local businesses and residents.
