SANDPOINT — As her husband is a construction contractor, it only made sense for Amy Lunsford to begin designing kitchens.

"A lot of the contractors here in the area are all really good at supporting each other if someone needs help," she said.

"The common theme of their conversations was finding dependable people that would show up, that could meet with clients.

“So I started out small, helping my husband, because I wasn't quite sure if I was going to like it or not ... I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed engaging with people and helping them fulfill their dream — making a nice kitchen and making it affordable."

Through her home-based business, Selle Trim Solutions, LLC, Lunsford said she sells doors, finish trim and is a representative selling Huntwood Custom Cabinets.

The Huntwood line comes in many different styles, colors and wood types and all of the items can be designed to match in style and color. The company is based in Liberty Lake, and because it is an area business, Lunsford said it is convenient for her and her clients.

"It makes a very nice cabinet affordable for everybody," she said.

Lunsford not only works with contractors, she works with individual homeowners as well, which she said are some of her "favorite people" to work with.

She covers all of Bonner County, she said, as she has picked up contracts in the Priest Lake area, Hope and Clark Fork.

"I just really enjoy bringing some organization to these guys who otherwise would have fallen short," Lunsford said.
