An audition for an upcoming production of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” will take place 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 19 at the Libby Memorial Events Center at 111 E. Lincoln Blvd.

Aspiring actors should plan to stay the entire two hours, a news release states. Some will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following.

Roles to be cast include Snow White and her friends Phineas, Foxy and Fernando; the King and Queen; seven dwarfs; forest animals; Black Forest creatures; a magic mirror; bats; and henchmen.

Kindergarten through 12th grade students are encouraged to audition and no advance preparation is necessary. Assistant directors will also be cast to assist with after-school rehearsals throughout the week and to take on backstage duties.

The play, a production of the Missoula Children’s Theatre, will take place 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, and 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Libby Memorial Events Center.

The Rotary Club of Kootenai Valley is sponsoring the play with support from Graduation Matters, The Washington Foundation and the Halfway House.
