SANDPOINT — The 21st annual crowd-pleasing Student Art Show will open Friday, March 16 at the Power House Gallery, 120 East Lake Street. An artists’ reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and the public is invited to come view the varied talents of the region’s high school students.

“This exhibit embodies the spirit and youth of our community and gives them the opportunity to share the creative voice that they have been cultivating all year long,” Visual arts coordinator Emily Bond said. “Pend Oreille Arts Council has brought together a body of work that represents the high school students of Bonner County.”

Participating in this year’s show are the works of students from Sandpoint High School, Lake Pend Oreille High School, Forrest M. Bird Charter School and Priest River Lamanna High School.

The show will be on exhibited until April 27.
