Lake County has unveiled a fresh-faced website with the intention to make navigation easier for the public.

Cassandra Normandeau, Information Technology clerk for the IT department of Lake County, said that a “team effort” between IT and county department supervisors spent one year discussing how the website should look.

“We pulled different color palates,” she said. The website, which consisted of predominantly blue hues, now has images of Lake County with earth tones on each page.

While the look is different, Normandeau said that the content is the same.

“The website hasn’t changed,” but subfolders have, which means pages previously bookmarked on the old website will not work now.

For anyone seeking further information regarding the website, call the IT department 9-5 p.m., Monday through Friday at (406) 883-7351.
