Women's college scholarship fundraiser is March 24 in Libby

A fundraiser that supports women’s college scholarships takes place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. March 24 at Wilkinson Hall at 101 Collins Ave. in Libby.
The event is the fourth annual held by local chapters of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO), which a news release states is committed to the educational advancement of women.
All proceeds will be used to provide student college scholarship and education resources to Libby and Troy women.
“At the event, large jars are filled with themed gifts which are silently auctioned,” the news release states. “Past themes have included glorious garden, Seahawks football tickets, chocolate dream, assorted adult beverages and various excursions.”
Participants can also buy $1 raffle tickets for a chance to win various door prizes.
There is no cost to attend the fundraiser and refreshments and drinks are provided for free.
