Want to create special Easter eggs?

Just in time for Easter, artist Lynn Walters will be at the Priest River Library Saturday at 2 p.m. to lead a Live & Learn class on traditional Ukrainian Pysanky egg decorating. Utilizing a wax-and-dye process and a small funnel called a kistka, participants will learn how to design and create their own decorative eggs. To register for classes or for more information, call the library at 208-448-2207 or email library@westbonnerlibrary.org. Follow library programs and events at westtbonner.lili.org or on Facebook: facebook.com/WestBonnerLibraries.

If you can’t make Saturday’s class, Walters will be at CREATE Place in Newport, Wash., 900 W. Fourth Ave., on Saturday, March 31, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The classes are open to ages 12 and there is a $5 materials fee. The class size is limited to 10, so please register early. To register for the Newport class, contact CREATE at 509-447-9277.
