HAUSER LAKE — A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Danny Meek of the volunteer Hauser Lake Fire Department will be held on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the fire station.

Funds raised will be used to offset Meek's medical expenses associated with kidney failure.

The suggested donation is $7 for adults and $3 for kids under 5. There will also be a raffle.

Meek is a lifelong resident of Hauser Lake, an EMT and engineer for the fire district and worked at Jacklin Seed for 40 years. He has been involved with the Lions Club, Hauser Gun Club, Shalena's Breakfast with Santa fundraiser and Calvary Lutheran Church.

"Danny is one of the most positive people I know," Hauser Lake fire Capt. Gary Mobbs said.

Donations can be made at any Mountain West Bank under an account set up for Meek.
