SUNNYSIDE — Jacob Joslin broke 90 for the first time in a tournament shooting an 89, and Caleb Christensen had a new personal low for a tournament carding a 97 at Black Rock Creek Monday. Chase Janett and Hunter Booth had their best scores of the year to date as well.
“We all have much to work on, but I still anticipate at least four of our golfer shooting consistently in the low to mid 90’s with days going down to the low 80’s,” coach Pete Christensen said. “There is a lot of unpolished abilities and they all are working daily to get better. I’m excited to see the progress we can make as the year progresses.”
The girl’s team heads to Apple Tree in Yakima for tournament play Thursday. The boys match up with Davis High Friday on the course.
