A Sydney man will reenact President Theodore Roosevelt circa 1911 at an upcoming press conference in Libby.
Arch Ellwein will depict Roosevelt as having just returned from an African expedition and European tour at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at K.W. Maki Theater.
According to a news release, Roosevelt — Colonel of the Rough Riders, the 26th President of the United States and a Nobel Peace Prize winner — will discuss his travels before holding a press conference.
The program is free to attend but donations will be welcome.
The Heritage Museum and Libby Friends of the Library are co-sponsoring the “living history” presentation.
