GRANDVIEW — The Lady Huskies made it five wins in a row with a 3-2 win at East Valley March 20, and 5-0 win over the Greyhounds in Grandview Monday. The victories move Othello to 5-0 in nonleague play and give the team a firm grip atop the standings. “The East Valley girls match up well with our girls. The Red Devils won districts last year and this match will continue to remind our girls of little errors we made. Our net game was weak and we let them control it the whole way, which led to easy wins for them,” coach Robert Pruneda said. “Grandview has typically been weaker maybe because of softball and track? We’re really in a four-team race between Selah, East Valley Ellensburg and Ephrata. Most of other schools struggles two get a competitive tennis squad.”
