Army Corps to host Libby Dam meeting

On Thursday, May 10, the Army Corps of Engineers will host a public meeting on Libby Dam.

Representatives from the Corps and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will discuss water supply forecasts, Libby Dam operations, Kootenai River fisheries, fish and wildlife habitat projects and recreational opportunities at Libby Dam.

Members of the public, elected officials and those with an interest in Libby Dam and the Kootenai River are encouraged to attend.

The meeting will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the K.W. Makl Theater, located at 724 Louisiana Ave. in Libby.
