The public is invited to a Columbia Falls Aluminum Co. community liaison panel and tour of the defunct site on May 9 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will include a project update. No photography or video will be allowed during the tour, however, company officials note. To sign up for the tour, contact Vonda Matthews at 1-877-384-7036. As part of the investigation of the Superfund site this year, the company plans on adding seven new monitoring wells and taking 147 new soil borings. The total number of wells on site is now 71.

The company did not give a reason for the camera and video ban.
