Tee-time is approaching for an annual golf event that benefits a scholarship fund that has awarded more than $30,000 since its inception.

The 14th Annual Kambel Scrambel — held the last Saturday in June in memory of Gregory “Peach” Kambel — begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 23 at Cabinet View Golf Club at 458 Cabinet View Rd. in Libby.

Teams of five can participate in an 18-hole scramble for a fee of $275, which includes a round of golf, complimentary toast sponsored by Maker’s Mark, t-shirt, peach cigar, koozie, tees and dinner.

A derby will be held at the club starting 5:30 p.m. the prior night.

Team entries will be accepted from May 11 to June 18. Entry forms are available in person at Cabinet View Golf Course, online at www.golflibby.com, or by calling Deb Kambel at 406-293-1042.

Carts can be reserved starting Monday, June 4, by calling the club at 406-293-7332.

For more information, call Deb Kambel at 406-293-1042 or view the Kambel Scrambel Facebook page.

All tournament proceeds go to the Greg Kambel Memorial Scholarship fund.
