Woman injured in collision with bus

A two-vehicle accident involving a school bus sent one woman to the hospital Friday morning.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred on Montana 35 near Glacier Springs RV Park at about 8 a.m. when a woman driving a Nissan Xterra rear-ended a school bus that was stopped waiting to make a left turn.

There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash and the bus driver wasn’t injured.

The Xterra driver was taken from the scene by Evergreen Fire Rescue ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.

The Xterra was totaled with heavy front-end damage. The bus had significant damage as well.
