Mixing modern luxury with a “cabin-in-the-woods” aesthetic, the Parkside Bungalows remain in high demand at the Dover Bay Waterfront Community.

Development on a second phase began last fall in the neighborhood set along a private inlet along Brown’s Inlet leading into Lake Pend Oreille. Two homes remain directly on the water, while the other properties in the second phase offer expansive views of the surrounding mountains. All residents enjoy access to a private beach and non-motorized boat access on the inlet — perfect for fishing and kayaking.

Offering a quiet lifestyle surrounded by nature, the Parkside Bungalows neighborhood is also just a short walk to the recreational activities at Dover Bay’s Marina Village, where the signs of summer are already beginning to show.

For those ready to move in now, a one-bedroom, one-bathroom Parkside Bungalow is currently available. Priced at $189,000, the home includes appliances, gas fireplace, air conditioning and more premium amenities. The home is also available furnished for an additional fee.

As for the second phase, buyers can choose from 10 different floor plans, starting with one bedroom homes all the way up to homes with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an additional loft space. Prices range from $199,000 to $415,000, respectively. The two waterfront properties come with a two-car garage, while mountain-view homes are paired with a covered carport.

All Parkside Bungalow homes come with premium standards, including all appliances, gas fireplaces, gas forced air heating and air conditioning and spacious entertainment decks. Buyers can choose their own finishes throughout the space.

The neighborhood is designed to be extremely low-maintenance to residents, with lawn care, snow plowing, water, sewer and other amenities included in the $285/month HOA fees. Homes can serve as a full-time residence, seasonal residence, or owners also have the freedom to utilize the property as a vacation rental.

The nearby Marina Village includes a newly expanded marina, heated outdoor swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, fitness center, market and much more. The Dish full-service restaurant is now open daily for dinners, with lunch service beginning soon for the summer season. You can reserve a boat slip for as long as a season or for as little as a weekend or single evening. Recreational rentals like kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are also available.

In addition to its diverse residential living options, Dover Bay also makes for an enviable North Idaho vacation getaway. Bungalows are available to rent via Dover Bay Resort. There is still availability at Dover Bay for the 32nd annual Lost in the ’50s car show in Sandpoint, which is just 3 miles from the Dover Bay community. The event, running Friday and Saturday, includes a vintage car show and parade, street dance and more. Learn more at www.Sandpoint.org/lostin50s

For marina and bungalow reservations, and more information about vacation packages, contact the Resort and Marina at 208-263-5493.

Go to the car show, then take some time to discover the more than 9 miles of walking and biking trails and 9 acres of parks and beaches within the Dover Bay community.
