Ben Graham Tourney moves to June

The dates for the annual Ben Graham Memorial Golf Tournament at Cabinet View Golf Course have changed for this year.

The move to the Friday through Sunday on the weekend of June 1 to 3, was made due to the late spring, according to a release from the event organizers.

Entry fees remain $70 for members, $90 for non members $130 for professionals.

The tournament will open with an optional practice round Friday, June 1, followed by a derby at 5:30 p.m.

The Saturday, June 2, activities will start at 8 a.m., and participants can call ahead to the clubhouse to set up their group or request to be put in a group.

A dinner will be provided at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Sunday, June 3, will go back to a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

On Saturday, the first hole number 7 hole-in-one wins $25,000. There will also be $100 added to the long drive prize money.

Par 3s will also feature amateur “KPs” with $50 for the player who gets closest to the hole. Duce pot and skins games will also be available.

The organizers encourage new participants and will have a special competition for past Logger Golfers as well.

The Ben Graham Tournament is held to honor the life and commitment to golf of Ben Graham. Particularly his dedication to children playing golf.

Proceeds go to support youth golf in Libby.
