Lady golfers invite more to group

A group of area women are inviting other lady golfers from the community to join them Wednesday’s at Cabinet View Golf Course for fellowship and golf.

The group recently met last Wednesday for a game of “‘Blind Holes,’ wherein the total score of four holes to be picked up after play were deducted from the gross score.”

Low Gross for the day was Nancy Hull with a 44, and for Group B was Donna Havens with a 57. Low Net for Group A was a tie of Pat Neils and Bobbie Bamford, and for Group B it was Anna Guthrie with a net of 39.

The group will continue to gold at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays, and they invite any lady golfer to join the group. They gather around 9 a.m. for coffee and a snack, followed by golf. They round out the day with lunch at a local restaurant.
