Faur leads Trojan tennis at state tourny

After getting six players to state from their divisional tournament against Bigfork, the Troy High School tennis team was unable to get past the second championship round.
AJ Faur, who reached the third round of consolation play, was the furthest advancing Trojan that day.
Though the team didn’t win a lot of matches overall, assistant Coach Nancy Prieve said the athletes still enjoyed their time playing in the State Championship, and came away with a lot of good experience.
For Faur, as well as doubles players Allie Coldwell and Kaitlyn Downey — the latter two of whom have played other sports together but both just took up tennis this year — playing in the state tournament represents the culmination of their high school tennis careers.
