The Butchers Nook of Plains recently celebrated with their second annual open house.
The small local restaurant wanted to show their appreciation to the community for supporting them day in and day out.
The celebration also coincides with the owners nearly ready to break ground on their new site that will be situated next to the new Baldy Mountain Tire shop along Highway 200.
Though Jonathan Borntreger one of the co-owners of the local resturant couldn’t give a date of completion, he did say that they are leaving it in God’s hands to decided.
“We aren’t in a big rush, so if we just take it day by day we hope the build will go quickly,” he said.
So as they await to break ground on their soon to be new location, they celebrated with some great sales and of course a free donut for everyone who stopped by.
