A head-on crash on U.S. 2 near Marion sent three people to the hospital with injuries Friday afternoon.

Montana Highway Patrol received the call shortly before 1:30 p.m.

The accident occurred near the intersection of U.S. 2 and Pleasant Valley Road.

According to Trooper Thomas Manz, a female driver of a pickup was turning into a parking lot when it cut off the other pickup, resulting in the crash.

Manz said the female driver was not wearing a seat belt and was transported from the scene by the ALERT helicopter.

The other people involved in the crash, a male driver and a female passenger, were taken from the scene by ambulance. They were both wearing seat belts.
