Grand Coulee woman injured in collision near Wilbur

WILBUR — A Grand Coulee woman was reportedly intoxicated when she crashed near Wilbur Tuesday night.

About 8:20 p.m. Justine Jake, 19, of Grand Coulee, was driving a 1997 Saturn SL2 east on state Route 174, about four miles west of Wilbur, when she reportedly left the road to the right and overcorrected to the left. Jake reportedly overcorrected again and the Saturn left the road and rolled, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Jake, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was injured and transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for treatment. The patrol reports Jake was intoxicated and cited for DUI and reckless driving.
