School district to participate in summer food service program

Boundary County School District #101 is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children, ages 1-18, without charge.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

n Valley View Elementary: June 11- Aug. 17

Breakfast 8-9 a.m., Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

n Bonners Ferry Municipal Pool: June 18- Aug. 17, 9:45-10:15 a.m.

n Bonners Ferry High School: June 18- Aug. 17

Breakfast 8-8:30 a.m., Lunch Noon to 12:30 p.m.

n Springs of Living Water Free Methodist Church: July 30 - Aug. 3

Lunch Noon to 12:25 p.m.

In addition, there will be a reading program at Valley View on Thursdays: June 28, July 5, July 12, July 19, and July 26. Come join us for reading, chess and STEM crafts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
