All-State musicians perform at Missoula

Area high school musicians recently performed at the Montana All-State Festival gala concert at The University of Montana in Missoula.

Students from around the state submitted auditions and were selected to play with the all-state band, choir or orchestra on Oct. 17-19.

Flathead

Band: Eva Bruce, clarinet and Anna Schultz, flute.

Choir: Toby Diegel, bass 1; Ethan Hawkins, tenor 1; Kaitlyn Kalenga, soprano 2; Sydney Loudermilk, soprano 1; Noelle Miller, soprano 2; Cameron Price, tenor 1; Carson Robison, tenor 2; Emme Schow, alto 2; and Thomas Schultz, tenor 1.

Orchestra: Maria Bay, double bass.

Glacier

Band: Annika Birney, flute; Haily Brown, trumpet; Jonathan Gardner, trombone; Luke Heupel, trumpet; Trevin Inabnit, clarinet; Evan Kohler, tuba; Galvin Ness, percussion; Amanda Wiersma, flute; and Delaney Wirtala, percussion.

Choir: Bria Anderson, alto 1; Caroline Dye, soprano 2; Blake Foppiano, soprano 2; Matt Glimm, bass 1; Kyla Harris, alto 1; and Amanda Yapp, alto 2.

Orchestra: Shea Siderius, violin.

Libby

Choir: Kaleb Lindgren, bass 2.

Polson

Choir: Keegan Brackey, brass 1; Halie Smith, alto 1; Michael Smith tenor 1.

Ronan

Choir: Kara Holmlund, alto 2.

Whitefish

Band: Willem Gray, clarinet; Jolene Green, tenor saxophone; and Jessica Henson, flute.

Orchestra: Bethany Barnes, viola and Annabelle Green, bass.
