Chip Nesson

Chip Nesson passed away Oct. 14, 2018, in Polson, Mont. Born Feb. 24, 1956, in Minot, N.D., to Dudley Nesson and Ida Walhood Nesson, he was the only son and youngest of three children.

In 1961, the family moved to Arcadia, Calif., where Chip attended school and graduated. In 1976, he married Beth Wilson and together they had three children — DJ, Rebecca and Chad. They would later separate, and in 1991, Chip decided to move his kids to Montana, where he lived and worked for the last 27 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, classic cars and most of all being with his kids and grandkids. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Chip was preceded in death by his father, Dudley Nesson. He is survived by his mother, Ida Nesson; sisters, Valerie Fitzgerald, and Renee and Satch Hooven; sons, DJ and Amanda Nesson, and Chad and Courtney Nesson; daughter, Rebecca and Dustin Bissegger; and grandchildren Nolan, Brayden, Bethany, Tucker, Maddy, Ryder and Lola.

Cremation was arranged by The Lake funeral home. The family held a private gathering.
