Maverick Owens poses with his five-by-five, 7.5 year old buck taken in Region One Sunday, on the final day of the big game hunting season. The fifteen year old hunter, whose parents are Dorian Boling and Scott Hanson, shot his deer at 30 yards with a .308. This was Owens’ second deer that he has ever taken, and was one of a group the family had been pursuing for three days.
