SANDPOINT — The Vac Shack in Coeur d’Alene gets a lot of business from Sandpoint customers. This is not the most ideal situation for people to get their vacuum serviced, since they have to leave it at the shop and pick it up another day.

That's why Derek Labossiere and Josh Adams decided to open a second Vac Shack location in Sandpoint.

“It’s going to be really convenient for everyone out there and for us,” said Labossiere, who will be managing the Sandpoint store.

Vac Shack sells new vacuums, with brands such as Miele, Simplicity and Carpet Pro, as well as refurbished vacuums. Labossiere said it is a “one-stop shop” for cleaning supplies, vacuum belts, bags, filters and more.

It is also a full-service vacuum shop, and Labossiere said they will work on any vacuum, including Dyson.

“If it’s having a problem, we’ll fix it,” Labossiere said. “And we do full services to where we get your vacuum basically like brand new again.”

It typically takes between one and four days for service depending on the issue, he said. Customers can stop in with any vacuum for a free estimate, which he said is “very reasonably priced.”

Vac Shack offers price protection and meets or beats anyone’s prices, Labossiere said.

The new shop opens Oct. 8 in the Bonner Mall, Suite 151.
