Windermere recently presented the North Idaho College Foundation with a $2,000 contribution to fund the Windermere/Coeur d’Alene Realty — North Idaho College Dual Credit Scholarship.

“When Windermere agents sell a home, a portion of our commissions go to the Windermere Foundation to support local charities in the community,” said Richard Jurvelin, Windermere Foundation/agent. “Our goal is to assist low-income households.”

Since 2006, contributions from Windermere have helped more than 110 dual credit students at NIC.

Dual credit provides high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to enroll in NIC classes for both high school and college credit.

“Windermere’s long-time investment in dual credit students has encouraged these students to dream big and achieve their highest potential,” said NIC President Rick MacLennan. “North Idaho College is very thankful for Windermere’s continued scholarship support.”
