Nearly 250 runners took to the Whitefish Trail Sunday morning for the eighth annual Legacy Race.

The event includes a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and family fun run. Starting and ending at the Whitefish Bike Retreat, runners got the chance explore the Whitefish Trail around Beaver Lakes during the race.

The Whitefish Trail is the anchor project of Whitefish Legacy Partners and includes 42 miles of trails and 12 trailheads. For more information, visit www.whitefishlegacy.org or call 406-862-3880.
