Libby Assembly of God and the Nazarene church are replacing its annual Halloween carnival with a block party.

All are invited to attend the free event, which takes place Oct. 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the hayfield between the two churches. Access can be had from Hamann Avenue and Horseshoe Road or 2nd Street Extension.

The all-ages party will feature food, games, prizes, hayrides, a bonfire and local bluegrass musicians Ann Mason, Mark Kroll and Rod Snyder.
