The Wildkats volleyball team came up short at home last week as they fell to conference-leading Libby in three sets, 25-16, 25-20, 25-18.

A win would have moved the Kats into a tie with the Lady Loggers atop the Northwest A standings, but Libby was able to clinch a conference title with the win.

Stella Bistodeau accounted for eight of the Wildkats’ 26 kills in the contest while Ryley Kehr added seven. Kehr and Hannah Schweikert each had an ace as well while Schweikert also added 21 assists.

Angellica Street led the defense with 15 digs while Savvy Ellis added eight and Schweikert and Kiara Brown each had a block.

The Kats will be in action at the Blocktober Classic in Butte this weekend before traveling to Polson Tuesday.
