Marla Jeanine Miller

Marla Jeanine Kelly was born in Port Angeles, Wash., on May 22, 1942, to Marjorie Hall and Miner Kelly. She entered Heaven’s gates on Aug. 15, 2018.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marla enjoyed spending time with her family. She devoted many years, not only to raising her four children, but extending her heart and assisting loved ones with the additional upbringing of five nieces, nephews, and granddaughters.
Some of Marla’s favorite past times include her weekly trips to Costco, playing pinochle and cribbage card games, as well as knitting and crocheting. She was an avid softball player and relished the family tournament team where she would play the catcher position.
Marla was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Elbert “Jack” Miller Sr.; and her brother, Merrill Kelly.
She leaves behind her four children, Elbert “Jack” Miller Jr., Jimmy Miller, Janice Mayfield, and Jeanine McCabe; as well as two nieces, five nephews, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at 3 p.m. at the Lake City Senior Center, 1916 Lakewood Drive, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. There will be dinner following the service.
