The Wildkats are the Northern A Conference soccer champions.

With wins over Libby (10-1) and Bigfork (3-0) last week, coupled with Polson’s unexpected victory over Whitefish Thursday, the Wildkats earned the title via tiebreaker over Whitefish and Polson as all three teams finished 6-2 in conference play.

By earning the conference title, the Kats have also earned home field advantage throughout the Class A playoffs, which will get underway against Laurel in Columbia Falls Saturday at 1 p.m.

The boys also picked up wins over Libby (1-0) and Bigfork (2-1) to finish third in the conference and earn a spot against the Pirates in the playoff play-in game in Polson Tuesday, but fell short, 6-5 in a game that went to penalty kicks.
