COEUR d’ALENE — A 68-year-old Worley man was arrested in Norwalk, Conn., last week for allegedly violating a restraining order 10 times.

Norwalk police said Lawrence Hrablook, of Worley, was arrested for 10 felony counts of violating a restraining order after he called, emailed and sent text messages to a female victim — his former girlfriend — over a one-month span between April and May this year.

Police said Hrablook also allegedly created a fake Facebook account to contact the victim, spied on her and stalked her, according to authorities.

Police officers used internet and phone records in an investigation that was spurred after repeated contact between Hrablook and the victim, police said.

Norwalk officers arrested Hrablook a week ago when he was at the Stamford, Conn., courthouse for unrelated business, according to reports.

He was charged with 10 counts of violating a restraining order, and held on $75,000 bond. Hrablook was released after paying a surety after an Oct. 3 arraignment, according to court records.

All of the charges against Hrablook are class D felonies, the least serious type of felony, and are punishable by one to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine, according to Connecticut law.

Hrablook’s next court appearance is Nov. 14 in Stamford’s Superior Court.
