Upcoming Libby student music events

Lorraine Braun of Libby Public Schools has announced a series of upcoming student music events in Libby and Troy.

Oct. 25, 7 p.m.: The High School Choir holds a fundraiser concert at the Libby Memorial Events Center, featuring music from the movie “The Greatest Showman.” Admission is free but donations are welcome.

Oct. 29, 6:30 p.m.: The Libby Children’s Select Choir is the guest performing choir at the Northwest Montana Choral Festival at Troy High School auditorium, which features students from six high schools.

Nov. 5, 7 p.m.: The first rehearsal for Handel’s Messiah for the Community choir and orchestra takes place in the high school choir room. The performance is Dec. 16.

Nov. 6, 7 p.m.: The Middle School choirs and Libby Children’s Select Choir’s Patriotic Concert is at the Libby Memorial Events Center. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend this evening of songs honoring those who serve or have served our country.
