Annual Elks Hoop Shoot is Nov. 7

The annual Elks Hoop Shoot free throw contest for ages 8 to 13 is coming up on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Libby Elks Lodge No. 2231 will host the local competition at the Libby Elementary School gym, according to a press release from the lodge. Participants are required to arrive before 4:30 p.m. in order to register, and the contest will begin at 5 p.m.

The competition is divided into six divisions based on age and gender, with a boys and girls division for 8-9-, 10-11- and 12-13-year-olds.

Winners will advance to the District Shoot in Pablo, and will need to have a birth certificate as proof of age, according to the release.
