The Troy Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank the community for buying almost 3,000 raffle tickets and supporting the fire department.

After paying for the tickets and rifle, the money will be used for much-needed new and upgraded equipment.

The department also wants to thank local business owners at Shoo Fly Fishing Company and Booze ‘n Bait for the support they gave.

Shoo Fly donated the nine-foot, five-weight, four-piece rod with Stone Creek R/A2 reel which retails for $600 and was won by Pat Weaver. Booze ‘n Bait discounted from $750 to $650 the Thompson Center Arms .308 Venture Predator in Snow Camo won by Scott Hoffman.
