How can you endorse a candidate without doing your homework? I think we can all agree that being informed of factual data about candidates before elections take place is important.
Ask yourself why has Dan McDonald’s opponent Mr. Lockwood terminates and cancels several events nor will he debate? As a taxpayer I would like to know why? Anyone looking to represent the people should not look at debates as an option, or an inconvenience. They should look at these forums as opportunities to reach their constituents and talk about their platforms, not run and hide on social media throwing shade and rubbish.
Good grief we’re all adults. Mr. Lockwood, if you’re reading this, “step up to the plate and have that debate.” By refusing to participate in a debate, the optics tell me that my concerns and questions don’t matter, and that you don’t have time for the people you, Mr. Lockwood, hope to represent.
Dan McDonald made time to meet with me at his office “face to face.” As a voter, I made the time to go and ask questions and concerns that I have, one of those being the expansion of Medicaid, this will kill Idaho… period. I will also say, meeting with Dan was refreshing. It was great to hear a compassionate and knowledgeable man articulate his vision for our county. We are very fortunate to have Dan McDonald and his proven leadership representing us. I will be voting for Dan McDonald, Bonner County commissioner, on Election Day, he is the right and responsible person for this important position. Be smart voters. Do your homework, your vote matters, so do the facts.
Join me and in reelecting Dan McDonald on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
