BONNERS FERRY — Super 1 Foods in Bonners Ferry is having their first Fall Carnival celebrating the harvest season on Oct. 31.

They are currently holding a coloring contest and the meat department has a “guess the amount” jar set up.

On Halloween, they will have a cake walk every hour beginning at 9 a.m. around the store with various prizes from each department. Customers may already notice the numbered stickers on the floor around the store. During the events, pause on a number and see if it gets called. Super 1 plans to continue the cake walk one day a week in order to continue giving customers savings as well as making their shopping experience fun.

The store will host the celebration all day, but the actual activities will be held between 3 and 8 p.m.

On Oct. 31, the deli will be giving out free kids cones from 3 to 8 p.m., the video department will have a fishing pond game, there will be cookie decorating at the bakery, face painting, a bean bag toss, and other activities throughout the store.

Their annual 12 hour baking sale is coming up November 3, which gives good deals on holiday baking goods.
