Local high school sophomores or juniors whose households are served by Flathead Electric Cooperative have until Nov. 1 to apply for a chance to win one of two spots on an all-expense-paid trip to the nation’s capitol next June.

The two local students will join more than 1,500 high-school students from around the country on the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

“Participants will learn about the history of this country, the role electric cooperatives played in that history, and meet with their congressional delegation,” states a news release.
