For those who like pizza and supporting local students, the Troy High School Travel Club will be putting in some elbow grease at Simple Simon’s on Friday and Saturday, with proceeds going toward the club’s planned trip to Peru.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, for each pizza purchased — including carry out — the Travel Club will earn a dollar, said club advisor Tabitha Maust by email.

Maust says she has 12 students planning to take the trip to Peru. On Friday and Saturday, those 12 will be at Simple Simon’s bussing tables, taking orders and helping out in other small ways in order to help earn their way.
