C-Falls soccer players earn post-season honors

Several Columbia Falls soccer players received post-season honors this week as the Class A All-State and All-Conference teams were announced.
The Wildkats, who fell to eventual state runner-up Laurel in the state quarterfinals, placed four on the Class A All-State team, including juniors Josie Windauer and Flora Jarvis, senior Kaylee Ashe and freshman Maddie Robison.
Those four were also named to the All-Conference first team. Second-team selections included C-Falls freshman Cheyanne Johnston-Heinz, sophomore LaKia Hill and juniors Lexi Purcell and Graceanne Sevesind.
Sophomore Avé McDonald and senior Kyla Johnston were honorable mention selections.
For the Wildcats, junior keeper Story Stemborski was the team’s lone All-State selection and was also named to the All-Conference first team. Second-team selections included seniors John Gilk and Chance Adams.
Sophomore Tyler Hull and juniors Danny Henjum and Mikey Tamburelli were honorable mention.
